Needles of Hope:
Needles of Hope is a knitting and crochet ministry, serving various organizations with hand made items such as baby booties, and blankets for Choices Pregnancy Center, Knitted Knockers for mastectomy patients, cancer caps for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, as well as items for the VA, and others in need. We meet the first Saturday of every month from 9am-noon. Come and stay for the whole time or join us for as long as you can! Needles of Hope meets at The Gathering Place, 5536 N 6th St, Phoenix, AZ 85012
The Grief Recovery Method - Grief is the normal and natural emotional response to loss, but most of the information we’ve learned about dealing with loss is intellectual. Although our Grief Support Groups involve some educational elements, effective Grief Recovery must de al with your broken heart, which requires emotional support instead of intellectual explanations. With the Grief Recovery Method, you will learn tools that will help you recover from the pain of your loss, no matter what it is. You may choose a group or a one-on-one setting, you will be able to complete the issues that you wish were different, better, or more in your relationship. You CAN find hope and healing! For more information or to find out when the next group will begin, contact Lori.
Women of Hope - On the second Thursday of every month, you will find a group of ladies at Barro’s Pizza, 18425 N 51 Ave, Glendale, AZ (51st Ave. & Union Hills Dr.) at 6:30pm. This is simply a time of food and friendship, and Destiny of Hope covers the cost of your meal. Why not join us?
Women Of the Word - is a group of ladies that LOVE to study the Bible! Meeting every Tuesday in North Central Phoenix at 6pm, we gather to connect in fellowship with other women and dig into the scriptures to grow our faith. Currently, we are diving into the Gospel of John, learning more and more every week.
